Addicks Range


Smallbore Rifle Range (#1)

  • Range primarily used for Smallbore Silhouette style rifle shooting.
  • Also used for Air gun shooting.
  • Covered firing line for prone and standing firing positions.


Bullseye Pistol Range (#2)

  • Designed with 25 and 50 yard rotating target frames.
  • Covered firing line with metal shooting benches for stand up pistol shooting

Short-work Pistol Range (#3)

  • 7 yard and 15 yard target frames.
  • Covered firing line with metal benches designed primarily for stand-up pistol shooting.


Pistol/Rifle Silhouette Range (#4)

  • Stands for metal Silhouette targets from 40 to 100 Meters.
  • Covered firing line with wooden shooting benches.




The Addicks range is only open with a Range Safety Officer on duty.

The current schedule is Friday afternoons, Saturdays and Sundays. 

Members are responsible for their own targets to be mounted on approved target frames only.

Please collect all brass and remove your targets or any other trash when you leave.

When the USGS readings for "water surface elevation" reaches 88 to 89 feet there will be ponding on some ranges, forcing their closure. Some ranges, or portions of ranges, may still be open.


When the reading is at 90 feet or more then the entirety of the Addicks range is closed.
